Did you know that 60% of all rapes go unreported?

Did you know that males make up 10 % of those rapes and they are least likely to report the rape?

Of course those rapist that are not reported never spend a day in jail and are free to rape again. They are even more empowered to rape again because they keep getting away with it. So here are some statistics taken from the Rainn Organization statistics.

If rape is reported, there is a 50.8% chance of an arrest.

If an arrest is made, there is an 80% chance of a conviction.

If there is a felony conviction, there is a 69% chance the convicted will spend time in jail.

So if 39% at attacks are reported to police there is only 16% chance the rapist will end up in prison.

Considering all of this the unreported rapes, about 6% of rapist will ever spend a day in jail and are free to rape again. 15 of 16 will walk.

Here is a suggestion. Protect yourself carry pepper spray or stun guns don't become a statistic.
